Boost Your Self Esteem With Subconscious Programming and Subliminal Messaging

A short article on the ways to boost your self esteem and increase your self worth - from dressing better, to using subliminal messaging.

Do you feel inadequate? Are you constantly comparing yourself to other people? Do you keep viewing yourself from the perspective of other people? If you can relate to any of these statements then you suffer from a lack of self esteem on one form or another. However, it’s not a problem that you are doomed to suffer from for the rest of your life. Awareness that you have a problem at a conscious and subconscious level will help you to increase your esteem. The following step by step approach could be of help:

Step 1 – Find out the reason for your sense of low self worth

Conditioning, poor opinion of your appearance, a negative body image or childhood trauma, whatever the reason maybe, you need to identify it. If you can do it yourself, great, you’ve solved half of your problem. However, if you are not able to you may take the help of a clinical psychiatrist or trained hypnotherapist. Counseling will help you to understand yourself better.

Hypnosis on the other hand would be more useful to dig out incidents buried in the depths of the subconscious which have an effect on your present. The therapy will help you release traumatic memories of your past.

Step 2- Make conscious efforts

If the reason for your low self esteem is your appearance or body image, you need to first learn to accept yourself the way you are. Positive affirmations can help you achieve this goal. Write down five good things about yourself on a piece of paper everyday. Look into the mirror and tell yourself, “I love and accept myself the way I am.” Do this aprox 40 or 50 times per day. Whatever you believe in strongly becomes your reality, positive affirmations help you strengthen your belief in yourself and can therefore change your reality.

Dressing nice will do wonders for your self confidence. It iss also important to remember that your inner beauty is reflected on your face. If you are a person who’s at peace with himself/herself, does not hold feelings of jealousy or hatred for anyone and believes in the power of positive thinking, your inner peace will reflect as radiance on your face.

Step 3- Work with your subconscious

Try listening to subliminal messages. Subliminal messages are suggestions which are beyond the perception of the conscious mind but can communicate directly with the subconscious. A self esteem subliminal album will help to re-program your mind to change your opinion of yourself into a more positive one, and although there are other methods to work with your subconscious mind as well such hypnosis and mediation, listening to subliminal messages is considered simpler as it requires little practice and has a do-it yourself approach.
